From Silver Valley Brewing out of Maple Ridge comes their “Everything Zen Dry Hopped Sour”.  The beer pours a yellow gold colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of citrus, lemon drops, sweetness and some tartness on the nose.  The flavour is of tartness, lemon, more general citrus, hint of grain with a mild pucker.  The beer came in at 6 to 6.5% alcohol with an IBU of 10.  I don’t always jump to a dry hopped sour but this one was quite enjoyable and well worth the pickup if it is still around.

Its crisp sourness is balanced by citrusy hop flavours and aromas to make for a refreshing golden sour that everybody can enjoy.
