From Bomber Brewing in East Vancouver comes their “Choqlette Porter”. The beer pours a deep but not opaque brown colour with a brown head. The aroma consist of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee with a low sweetness. The flavour is of coffee, roasted malts, malts, ash, bitterness, chocolate with a dry finish. The alcohol content comes in at 5.5% with an IBU of 18. This is a little thinner than I usually go for as I love huge imperial stouts but this brew is super tasty regardless. I will be drinking more of this during the winter!
Commercial Description: CHOCOLATE PORTER Great taste is more than the beer in this vessel. It’s classy and quirky and vibrant and subtle. It’s chaos and balance, innately in sync. It’s not something you learn, it’s a second instinct It’s old worldly charm with a modern day spin. Rich roasted malts with chocolate a l’ancienne. London and Paris at home in one drink. It’s just a few of our favorite things. BIG PICTURE light & fresh.
