Layer Up Winter Wheat Ale – STANLEY PARK BREWING

From Delta’s Stanley Park Brewing comes their new “Layer Up Winter Wheat Ale”.  The beer pours a chestnut brown with a tan head.  The aroma consists of berries, citrus, sweetness and wheat.  The flavour is of berries, citrus, orange, cherry, grain, wheat and sweetness.  The alcohol content comes in at 5.2% with an IBU of 18.  While I do not drink Wheat Ales all that often this one is definitely worth the 6 pack it comes in.  Stanley Park Brewing is now owned by Labatt.

Commercial Description:  Lush layers of berry and citrus flavours in this auburn coloured Wheat Ale invite you to Layer Up this season.

Food paring as per brewery:  Baked Brie, Rack of Lamb with Fig Chutney, Olive Oil Cake
