From Coal Harbour Brewing in Vancouver in collaboration with Doans Craft Brewing and Bright Eye Brewing comes their “Secret Track Hazy German Pale Ale”.  The beer pours a deep murky orange with an off white head.  The aroma consists of fruity citrus hops notes with some herbal notes and a juicy hop finish.  The flavour is of herbal hops, tea like tannin notes, citrus rind, bitterness, almost rye spice and resin.  The alcohol content comes in at 5.4% with an IBU of 35.  While not your average hazy pale ale this is an interesting take on the style and I did enjoy it regardless.
