From Bomber Brewing in East Vancouver comes their “Toto Darkness Black Lager”. This beer has been released in conjunction with Theatre Replacement’s production of East Van Panto: The Wizard of OZ. The beer pours a deep black colour with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, chocolate and sweetness. The flavour is of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, toffee, earth and some bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5.4%. This beer is not thick like stout but this one is so tasty as a black lager. I will definitely be drinking more of this one.
