From Trading Post Brewing in Langley in collaboration with Full Barrel Brewing a local Langley home brew club comes their “Sessionable Russian Imperial Stout”.  The beer pours an opaque black colour with a brown head.  The aroma consists of brown sugar, dark fruits, roasted malts, chocolate and some sweetness.  The flavour is of roasted malts, smoke, ash, earth, chocolate, brown sugar, treacle, mild bourbon, oak, fruits and a medium to low sweetness.  The alcohol content comes in at 8.5%.  This beer is not as thick as many Russian Imperial Stouts but that does not take away from the fact it is a very tasty beer.
