Rail Ale Nut Brown – Howe Sound Brewing

From Squamish BC’s Howe Sound Brewing comes the “Rail Ale Nut Brown”.  The beer pours a deep brown colour with a tan head.  The aroma consists of nuts, caramel and a sweet finish.  The flavour is of nuts, caramel, toffee, hint of coffee, chocolate, mild roasted malts, earth and some light bitterness in the finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 19.  This is a nice although basic brown ale and would be awesome for cooking on top of drinking.

Commercial Description:  A smooth, flavourful nut brown ale with hints of chocolate, caramel and coffee.
