From New Westminster’s Steel & Oak Brewing comes their “Parkade IPA”. The beer pours a mild cloudy ornage with an off white head. The aroma consists of herbal hops, tropical fruit, citrus, caramel and some floral hops. The flavour is of herbal hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit rind, resin, bitterness, earth, mild caramel and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 7.1% with an IBU of 65. This might be my favourite IPA that has come out of Steel & Oak outside of collaborations.
Commercial Description: Parkade is a big, bold, piney, resiny, beast of an IPA, packed full of citrus from a huge dry hop of Centennial, Mosaic, Simcoe and Amarillo. Clean, crisp, with a nice hit of bitterness for balance.
