From Central City Brewers & Distillers (Red Racer Brewing) in Surrey comes their “Wine in a Treewell Belgian Ale”.  This beer  was Day 13 in the collaboration Alpine Adventure Pack a Christmas calendar between Central City Brewers & Distillers and Parallel 49 Brewing.  The beer pours an orange colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of wine grapes, fruit, citrus, sweetness and cereal grain.  The flavour is of wine grapes, citrus, peach with an overall fruitiness with cereal grain and a low bitterness.   The alcohol content comes in at 5.5%.  While I am not a fan of wine I do enjoy these wine beer hybrids.  I hope this kind of thing keeps coming.
