From Silver Valley Brewing out of Maple Ridge comes their “Broken Label Wee Heavy”.  The beer pours a deep brown with a tan head.  The aroma consists of roasted malts, toffee, caramel, sweetness but the aroma in many ways reminds me of a brown ale.  The flavour is of roasted malts, toffee, caramel, dark fruits, earth, ash and mild bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at between 7.5 and 8% with an IBU of 35.

Commercial Description:  A revised version of our first ever homebrew.  This deep, richly flavoured beer is thick and malty with rich caramel and toffee flavours.  Pairs great with roasted meats or sticky toffee pudding.
