From Silver Valley Brewing out of Maple Ridge comes their “The Highway Lager”.  The beer pours a golden colour straw colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of citrus, grain, sweetness and floral hops.  The flavour is of grain, grassy hops, citrus, mild herbal notes and a very low bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at 5.5% with an IBU of 20.  As lagers go this one is quite tasty.

Commercial Description:  Based on the Munich Helles Lager style, this beer is simple, clean, and easy to drink. The German hops are nicely balanced with some malty sweetness, with light fruity esters from the yeast. Pairs exceptionally well with salads, fish, chicken, or pasta dishes.
