From Boombox Brewing in Vancouver brewed out of Parallel 49 Brewing comes their “Midnight Train” a  Milk Chocolate Coconut Stout.  This beer pours an opaque black colour with a tan head.  The aroma consists of chocolate, coconut, lactose, toffee, caramel and sweetness.  The flavour is of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, resin, lactose, coconut, bitterness, earth and some alcohol.  The alcohol content comes in at 8.8%.  While this beer is not as exceptional as their hazy IPA’s it is a very tasty Imperial Stout.
