From Strathcona Beer Company in Vancouver comes their “Head Banger Triple India Pale Ale” their second anniversary beer.  The beer pours a murky dark orange colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of tropical fruits, mango, peach and some green notes from the hops.  The flavour is of tropical fruit, mango, peach, raspberries, pineapple, sweetness, green from hops, some resin and dankness with a low bitterness to match the lower notes of alcohol in the finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 10.4% with an IBU of 55.  This has to be the best beer that Strathcona has made to date and it is really really tasty!
