From Coal Harbour Brewing in Vancouver comes their “Charcoal Porter”.  The beer pours a deep brown colour with a tan head.  The aroma consists of roasted malts, mild smoke and sweetness.  The flavour is of smoke, ash, roasted malts, chocolate, earth, bitterness, caramel, roasted coffee with a dry finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 5.8%.   This porter is on the thinner side but is quite tasty and a great brew to sip on a winters day.
