DarXide Russian Imperial Stout – FUGGLES & WARLOCK CRAFTWORKS

From Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks in Richmond comes there “DarXide Russian Imperial Stout” the new version of their old Darkside.  The beer pours a deep opaque black with a brown head.  The aroma consists of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some sweetness.  The flavour is of pine, resin, bitterness, earth, smoke, burnt coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, alcohol and some ash.  The alcohol content comes in at 9.9% with an IBU of 40.  This is a dry Russian Imperial Stout with little sweetness but lots of people prefer this and I did really enjoy it.

Commercial Description:  A bold & creamy body, chocolates, coffee, black currants, and so many amazing flavours are packed into our smooth 9.9% ABV of greatness!
