From Vancouver Island Brewing in Victoria comes their “Misthorn Winter IPA”.  The beer pours a deep copper colour with a tan head.  The aroma consists of orange, orange peel, cinnamon, rye spice and some sweetness.  The flavour is of rye spice, orange, orange peel, citrus pith, herbal hops, pith, cinnamon, pine and bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at 6.5% with an IBU of 66.  This is an interesting Winter IPA with a nice spice mix in the flavour fray.
