Salted Watermelon Sour – Stanley Park Brewing

From Delta’s Stanley Park Brewing comes their new “Salted Watermelon Sour” a Gose part of their Concession Stand mixed pack. The beer pours a cloudy orange with a white head. The aroma consists of watermelon, salt and some sweetness. The flavour is of watermelon, salt, tartness and citrus. This reminds me of a salted watermelon jolly rancher. The alcohol content comes in at 4.1% with an IBU of 5. This probably will not be for everyone but I find this quite refreshing. I would bet this would be a really nice patio sipper. Stanley Park Brewing is now owned by Labatt.
