From Dead Frog Brewery recently moved to Langley BC comes their new “Neon Moon Black Lager”.  The beer pours a chestnut brown with a light brown head.  The aroma consists of chocolate, roasted malt, nutty and dark fruit.  The flavour is of dark fruit, roasted malt, chocolate, toffee, nutty, ash, earth and some mild bitterness in the finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 6% with an IBU of 18.  I enjoy a well made black lager and this one was an enjoyable sipper.

Commercial Description:  A smooth black lager that combines the rich, roasted flavours of a dark ale with the crisp finish of a lager.
