From the Parkside Brewery in Port Moody comes their “Attack of the Cherry Stout”  and Imperial Stout.  The beer pours an opaque black with a brown head.  The aroma consists of cherries, roasted malts, chocolate and sweetness.  The flavour is of cherry, roasted malts, ash, burnt coffee, toffee, brown sugar with a medium bitterness in the finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 8.3% with an IBU of 60.  I really enjoyed this one as it is just the right amount of flavours blended together.

Commercial Description:  This imperial stout is opaque black & full-bodied with flavours of sweet coffee and dark chocolate and finished with a blend of sweet, dark & red sour cherries to create a luscious seasonal favourite.
